Here it is. At long last. The latest, third version of the OMD E-M5, the Mark III. It appeared in the stores early December, following the tracks of the original Mark I of 2012 and the improved Mark II of 2015.

This is a significant development, as the new model includes some features previously available only in the E-M1 (original or Mk.II) and/or the recent E-M1X.

The way I see it, the most significant of these (for some users at least) is the dual (CD+PD) autofocus system, providing full compatibilit with legacy (non-Micro) Four Thirds lenses. We will discuss that subject later.
