Grand Canyon, Arizona

Flipper

Created by the Colorado River cutting through an Arizona desert, this is one of the major tourist attractions of the American West (more exactly: the Southwest), or the Four Corners area.

Just recently I found a few Kodachromes, shot in 1993 (my first trip to the area), scanned by Kodak in 2004, and then forgotten about. Until I digitize some frames from the other trips, these must suffice as the only Grand Canyon images in my archives.

So here it is, as seen from the North Rim 25 years ago.

A few ot these look quite nice in monochrome (less is more!).
