Mt. Timpanogos Trail

(Wasatch Mountains, Utah)

Flipper
Mt. Timpanogos, at 3582 m above sea level and easily accessible from Salt Lake City, Utah, is deservedly one of the most popular hiking destinations in The U.S. Rockies — in spite of a 23 km round trip required.

We hiked it with Jerry Elbert (Physics, U of U) on one beautiful day in August of 1985. It was worth the effort.

Some, if not all, of these Kodachromes, may look better in monochrome.
Just in case, here they are.
