Kyoto, Japan

You can't give Kyoto justice in just two dozen of photographs; this is just a sample. Last time we spent four October days there, seeing the most recognized highlights: Kinkaku-ji and Gingaku-ji (Golden and Silver Pavillions), the Ryoan-ji and Daisen-in Zen gardens, the Kiomizu-dera and Nanzen-ji temples, the Nijo castle, and the old Gion district; that's barely scratching the surface. A two-week stay would be more appropriate. Next time.
