This year I went to the Ocracoke Island in Outer Banks, NC, for the Fourth of July weekend. The firework show over the picturesque Silver Lake Harbor, while not as huge as those in major cities, was most enjoyable, and not only because of the perfect scenery.
Here are some pictures from that night, shot with an Olympus E-300 digital camera, manual settings, tripod. (Look here for a technical article on firework photography.)
