The Foothills of the Polish Tatras

Tucked in the foothills of the Tatra Mountains near Zakopane, Poland is the village of Cyrhla, and its neighbor Hrube. Both offer nice views of the surrounding countryside and of the Tatra range itself.

The village is a good base for mountain hiking, and I used to go there every Summer years ago. In 2000, I came back again, carying a digital Olympus C-3000Z camera, and here are some of the results.

Clicking on any of the thumbnails brings up a larger (1024x768) version of the same image.
